Heather with Ngala Pendant

My favorite find is the new Mud Thatch Dome terracotta Pendant by Ngala Trading. It has a hint of an artistic ceramic studio piece that one may find in an old clay studio in Europe. I love the old-world charm.

The coloration is also unique and has a painterly presence . It is as if I am traveling to a place where I can cook and make art with a wonderful view of a countryside. I see is as a village with rolling hills and the hint of cinnamon. I think this will make a very interesting light fixture for our clientele and I love that it comes in 3 colors!

The Fiori Chandelier by Lib&Co. is my favorite find. This light fixture resembles an illuminated flowering branch, with a network of gracefully
twisting golden stems forming its structure. These gold leaf branches are exquisitely detailed handmade glass blossoms in both frosted
white and clear finishes, each petal delicately shaped to catch and diffuse the light.

I love the combination of matte and transparent flowers which create a layered, ethereal glow
that feels both artistic and botanical. It would be really nice in a dining room or main bathroom.

The Glow 2 Chandelier by KAIA Editions is my favorite find. The Glow Collection is a collaboration with French Architect and Designer Sophie Dries, who uses materials and craftsmanship as the ethos to her designs. Each piece in this collection is comprised artisanal mouth blown glass layered with a hand applied papier-mache providing a one-of-a-kind textural quality that diffuses the light source. The frames are made from solid Brass in multiple finishes.

​I like this collection for its ability to create a modern artistic effect over a table. The collection uses both an architectural structure of the frame with the softness of glass and paper striking the perfect balance of feminine and masculine aesthetic.  

Visit us at the Denver Design center to experience the soothing effect this light has in a space.

My favorite find this month is the Small Urchin Chandelier by Ngala Trading. It is featured in our Scottsdale showroom in stunning black leather with inner crystal accents.

This product is my favorite right now because it is made in South Africa by hand and made with leather, which is a very uncommon material used in lighting. I love that there are multiple color ways that you can select from for this chandelier.

The Fiori Chandelier by Lib&Co. resembles an illuminated branch with gracefully twisting stems forming its unique structure. It is available in many different shapes and sizes. They can even do a custom finish if you prefer!

I love the handmade frosted and clear glass blossoms integrated with LED inside each flower. It creates an ethereal glow. This piece brings a sense of natural elegance indoors.

The Sea Urchin Chandelier by Ngala is my favorite find. It is featured in our Chicago showroom in Cream-Stone Leather. This chandelier is handcrafted by artisans who have enhanced their craft over many years. Most of Ngala’s products are sourced from family-owned businesses, with the majority of whom are women-owned and women-led.

The chandelier’s varying lengths create a soft silhouette that feels sculptural and elegant from every angle. There are a variety of unique leather colors that allows for a more personalized and distinctive design statement. I love that Ngala combines hand craftsmanship with ethical and local partners that result in both high quality and beautiful products.

The Modena Chandelier by Lib&Co. is my favorite find. The Modena is a modern, sculptural chandelier with an organic, nature-inspired design. Each arm ends in a teardrop shaped glass shade, resembling delicate flower buds. The glass shades have a textured or seeded interior, which diffuses the light into a warm, glowing effect. Even though it’s dramatic, it doesn’t overpower a space in a harsh way. It draws you in softly.

It reminds me of walking through the woods as a kid, where the light filtered through leaves and everything felt a little magical. It’s sculptural and modern, but still emotional and nostalgic.

The Flare Pendants by Bomma pay homage to traditional glassmaking techniques with highly sophisticated mounting options. While seemingly minimal in appearance, the flexibility to design a bespoke installation using just three shapes is both inventive and wildly creative. The end result is a lighting sculpture made from handmade, high-quality glass. When showing this to a designer it is always such a treat to see how they envision this collection in their projects; everything from multi-unit stairwell installations to single Flare pendants adjacent a headboard wall.

The Wesley Hall Peretti Sofa is my favorite find. It’s comfortable – football viewing approved. I appreciate the details; such as the cushioned track arm and exposed wood along the base. Wesley Hall offers a wide array of fabric options and coordinating pillows.
